I’m Not A Mum But You Can Trust Me

If you’ve found yourself on this website, you may already know that I am a Personal Trainer specialising in women’s health - more specifically, pre and postnatal exercise.

What you may be wondering, is how am I the best person to guide you through the pre and postnatal time of your life when I am not a Mum (or Mum-to-be) myself?

Part of my job is to reassure you that I know what I’m talking about when it comes to working with women throughout pregnancy and beyond, and I want to make sure you can trust in me that I can help you in the best possible way.

I am aware that there are many brilliant Personal Trainers out there, who offer pre and postnatal specific fitness coaching AS WELL AS being parents themselves. Therefore, they can relate to many of the things their clients go through during pregnancy and beyond.

I’m not at that point in my personal life yet, and you may have questioned if I’m the right person to help you during your pre and postnatal journey.

(I take no offence whatsoever if you have thought that - I asked myself that question once too!).

I may not be a Mum BUT what I can tell you is:

  •  I know exactly what I am talking about when it comes to exercising safely during pregnancy and after having children.

  • Alongside my numerous qualifications in this field, I have years of experience working with pre and postnatal women. I understand their bodies and their needs when it comes to building and maintaining strength, fitness and recovering from childbirth.

  • I am a very empathetic person (and it also helps that I have lots of young children in my life, including several nieces and nephews) so I understand what obstacles parents have to work around when it comes to fitting in time for themselves. It’s my job to help them navigate any obstacles they have and I know I do a good job at being flexible, adaptable and supportive when it comes to giving my clients what they need.

  • The reason I set up Natal Fit is because I know that Personal Training can be a hard thing to justify both cost and time-wise as a Mum. I know many parents need on-demand classes that aren’t too time consuming, aren’t expensive and which they can do when they get a spare few minutes in their day. Natal Fit is my way of giving back to parents who want the knowledge and support of a trainer without a big monthly fee or hour-long commitment each week. I may not be a Mum, but I know what is feasible and what can work for many women with children to look after.

So I may not be a Mum (yet…maybe one day!) but I am very confident in my knowledge and ability to help women throughout the pre and postnatal time of their lives. I hope you’ll have confidence in me too.

And remember, I’m always here to answer any questions you have and reassure you that I can help you should you need advice about your exercise routine. I’m always happy to chat and love to hear from you!

You can get in touch with me here anytime.
